This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see one of the largest locomotives built in the United States that travelled across the country from California and is now on display at the Navy Yard. The train is part of the 250th Anniversary Celebration of the founding of the United States.

This B paced ride will leave from the Giant Parking lot in Plymouth Meeting. We will take the Cross County trail to the SRT then cruise into the city. Our plan is to get to the Navy Yard by 9:00 AM when the site where the train is located, will be open for touring.

This is a NO DROP Ride but participants should be able to maintain a C+ B pace.

We will be watching the forecast as we will need to get back to the start before the rain that is predicted for the afternoon.
