Major Taylor Birthday Ride – Betzwood to Butterscotch Café
DESCRIPTION
November 26, 1878 to June 21, 1932
Sunday, November 26, marks the 145th Anniversary of the birth of Major Marshall Taylor.
With that in mind, we will be riding a brief but scenic ride from Betzwood Bridge Park to Butterscotch Café in the quaint town of Birchrunsville.
The ride is rolling with moderate climbing. The forecast is for a brisk 48 degrees but it should be comfortable as there will be low winds. Come prepared with layers. The climbs will warm us up and the treats at Butterscotch Cafe are worth the ride.
This is a C+ to B ride. It’s a no drop ride but make sure that you are comfortable with some climbing.
