DESCRIPTION

THIS IS THE RAIN DATE FOR THE BBQ SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 10TH .

Members Ride and BBQ: Wayne’s Wood Picnic Area – Valley Forge National Park

Wayne’s Woods Picnic Area is conveniently located with, ample parking, clean bathrooms, and a spacious shaded picnic area within view of the Memorial Arch.   

Make sure that you stop by the Memorial to Patriots of African Descent as you ride through Valley Forge Park crossing over the Sullivan Bridge back to Betzwood to start the routes, but please do NOT block traffic.

Attendees Must Be Registered

• Members who register before June 2nd are FREE! After June 2nd there will be a $10 charge per member

• Non-member guests are welcome for a fee: $20

Join Us for a Member’s ride and post-ride summer celebration.

This event will be catered providing BBQ chicken, burgers, fried fish, chicken, greens, pasta, potato salad, and cold beverages.

Members and guests are encouraged to bring any specialty dishes you would be proud to show off.  However, do not feel obligated to purchase a dish. 

We will collect the donated dishes before the rides.

Routes

There are three ride options:

Members must register to enable us to have enough food and beverages for our riders.  Guests are welcome but must pay a non-member fee in advance.  Please register early so that we can plan accordingly.

Please bring a lawn chair or two, your favorite beverages. Some riders may pedal to and from the event, so if you have an extra chair please bring it.

Things to Remember:

1. You and any guest must be registered. Register early. We may not be able to accept registrations after June 6th!
2. We will have someone accept dishes prior to the rides
3. Have clothes you can change into after the ride for comfort
4. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at the park
5. Young children of members should contact the event committee for pricing. (events@phillymtcc.org)

Free Member Registrations closes June 2nd.   If you register after that date you will have to pay a late registration fee.
